We are a team of young historians from St. John’s College Junior College who have joined forces to explore, research, and share the remarkable story of Lamanai.

Together, we are responsible for researching Lamanai’s history, its major periods, archaeological discoveries, and the people and cultures that shaped this extraordinary site.

We chose Lamanai because its history tells a powerful story of resilience, cultural change, and continuity. From its earliest settlements and magnificent temples to its trade networks and colonial encounters, Lamanai offers us a glimpse into thousands of years of Belizean history.
